Coaching is not about getting good, it is about getting better. Whoever and wherever we are, we want better. Better isn't static, like good. Getting better is a journey with no destination. Its infinite. We can always get better!

Here lies the issue with creating a coaching culture or sustaining a coaching / mentoring relationship. We need to understand that coaching isn't about getting good, or reaching immediate objectives/goals, it's about getting better. It's about building a growth mindset that allows people to continually improve and strengthen their skills and capabilities. This is the 'win'.

Whether we work as part of a team, with matrix relationships, with remote team members, with large or small teams, as a business owner, building relationships with clients, engaging in mentoring relationships or supporting friends and family, we need to develop and practice our coaching skills to help build the 'win'. As a coach or being coached, both skills are important. Join us to spend a valuable hour practicing your coaching skills and be better!

Key takeways:

· Core knowledge and tools that support your coaching mindset and skills

· Practice coaching skills in small groups and receive instant feedback, building capability through practice

· Put new skills into practice and develop your coaching style.
