The DutchCham Tax Committee organises a roundtable discussion about effective cash management strategies for China investments. This time with speakers Andrew D'Azevedo and Louis Kwong from PwC.

Due to foreign exchange controls in China, cash management is always a key concern especially for multinational clients who intend to, or have existing investments in China. With current challenges arising from the pandemic, cash liquidity and business sustainability becomes a high priority for our clients. Establishing a practical remittance strategy (including cash injection to fund China operations / expansion or cash repatriation from China) is crucial to ensure business longevity and growth. Our breakfast sharing will discuss and analyze the issues concerning fund remittance to and from China.

Salient points:

1) Tax efficient methods of funding China operations;

2) Practical case sharing of various methods to repatriate cash from China considering factors such as tax cost, timing and implementation complexities in light of the complex regulatory environment.

Don't forget to register (limited seats available)!
