Event Details

After our event No Time To Waste, where we had an interesting panel discussion regarding the landfill situation in Hong Kong, we now like to take all our members one step further!

On June 13th, we invite you to come and watch the lunchtime version of "A Plastic Ocean" with us, a documentary to make a difference. Did you know that more than 8 million tons of plastic waste - equivalent to five grocery bags for every foot of coastline on our planet - is dumped into our oceans each year? This award-winning film not only uncovers alarming truths about plastic pollution and the threat to human health, but also critically reveals the solutions that can be put into immediate effect to turn the tide.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with expert Patrick Yeung from WWF-Hong Kong. Patrick will discuss with participants on the local situation and how corporates can work together for solutions at source.
