The supply chain landscape has changed dramatically over the last years, the need for visibility and real-time data driven information has never been so eminent. With the worldwide flow of goods rapidly expanding, both in diversity as in complexity, the right information and an integral overview is crucial in managing supply chain flows.

Meanwhile, when importing, distributing and selling products into/within EU countries, the supply chain process can be severely affected in case non-compliant products are found. Involved operators have legal responsibilities to supply compliant products, both on safety as well as environmental aspects. What's more, a new set of game-changing EU Regulations, implemented from May 27th 2019, will impose on non-EU online-/distance-/e-sellers and fulfillment service providers the same legal responsibilities as their counterparts in EU.

Breakfast set-up:

During this breakfast meeting we will give you a better understanding of the developments we see in the logistic market. We will show examples of current trends and solutions. Furthermore, we will create an open environment by which we will gain a deeper understanding of your challenges in your supply chain and discuss possible solutions to cope with those challenges.

We will also give you an overall understanding of the legal responsibilities (and challenges) that are applicable to your product and supply chain. Besides, we will unfold how companies like Kruidvat / A.S. Watson, IKEA, are coping with and making use of these challenges (sometimes as crisis!) to make their business more successful and profitable. In addition, we will give you a sneak preview of the new game-changing regulation, the EU goods package; its consequences for your business and what you can do as an early-adapter in facing these new challenges.
