The DutchCham Finance Committee presents the economic outlook 2020!

Will Hong Kong continue to face setbacks of the slower growth in mainland China? What about the trade war implications or the escalated social unrest in Hong Kong? Will these higher uncertainties and economic challenges be reflected in asset prices? And what about the current shifts in geopolitics and the impact on FX Markets?

This and more will be reviewed by APAC Chief Economist Alicia García Herrero from Natixis and Chief Risk Officer Greater China, Michiel Haasbroek from ABN Amro at DutchCham economic Greater China outlook 2020.

Where Alicia will focus on the macro-economic outlook and developments, Michiel will zoom in on developments of financial institutions in Greater China. Of course the impact of the US - China strategic competition will also be reviewed. They might not always agree with each other, which can lead to an interesting Q&A discussion at the end.

Hugo Sterkenburgh, Head of the International Desk at ABN AMRO, will be your moderator this evening.
