Mr. Charles Ng heads up one of the two divisons helping overseas and Mainland companies to establish or expand their business presence in Hong Kong. His teams are responsible for Innovation and Technology (which include Health Tech, Smart city, Artificial Intelliengence and Robotics, Information and Communications Technology), Financial Technology, and Startups.

He has worked for companies in the manufacturing, trading, financial services and banking sectors in Mauritius, Canada and Hong Kong. He speaks 6 languages and dialects and holds an MBA degree awarded jointly by the Business School of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.

Gaëlle Olivier has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career at Credit Lyonnais as a Financial Engineer for equity derivative products. In 1998 she joined AXA, where she held several senior executive roles at AXA over the following 20 years, 10 of which in Asia – across Japan, China, Hong-Kong, South-East Asia and India. Gaelle was appointed CEO of AXA Group Property & Casualty business, and member of the AXA Group Management Committee, in 2016. At the end of 2017, she decided to leave AXA to focus on the support of start-ups specialised in data and innovation. Gaëlle was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale Asia Pacific in January 2020.

Gaëlle Olivier is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, ENSAE and a Chartered Actuary from the Institut des Actuaires.

Mox operates in a whole new way by listening to customers and focusing on heart share.

Deniz joined Standard Chartered in 2017 as the Global Head, Design and Client Experience, where he oversaw client journey and optimizations, digital wealth, and collaborations with tech firms and start-ups.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Deniz served as the Senior Vice President at BBVA Group’s Garanti Bank in Turkey. During his role at Garanti, Deniz was responsible for end-to-end digital assets, as well as iGaranti, the mobile only bank in Turkey. Deniz played an important role which enabled Garanti to reach 5 million active digital customers and to grow their market share in Turkey. Previously, Deniz also worked for HSBC, QNB Finansbank and DemirBank.

Deniz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in New Media and Communications from Marmara University and an MBA from Istanbul Bilgi University. In addition to being a technology enthusiast, he enjoys yoga, writing and supporting the Besiktas Football Club.

Jennifer Cao is Managing Director, New Digital Business Asia (NDB) for BBVA. Throughout her 23-year career with BBVA Group across various geographies: New York, Shanghai and Hong Kong, she has held various senior executive positions in Finance, Strategy, Corporate Development, and Digital and Fintech most recently.

Jennifer’s current leading role in New Digital Business Asia focuses on investments in Asian digital ventures and partnerships with Asian tech companies. She is an observer on the Investment Committee of Sinovation Ventures Fund IV in China, where BBVA is a limited partner.

Prior to joining BBVA, Jennifer worked in financial services division of Arthur Andersen in New York, and worked on audit engagements on companies such as Solomon Brothers, Lazard, etc.

Jennifer holds an MBA from City University of New York, and a BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Spanish.

With her position as a board member of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, as well as her professional executive experience working in the financial industry in different countries, Jennifer is determined to contribute to the Eurocham’s modernisation process with her leadership quality and management experience.

Before joining Bretteville Consulting, Anastassia was leading the Asian office of another European consulting company and held various senior positions within Royal Bank of Canada in Luxembourg where she started in 2003.

Anastassia Jehl holds a Master in Management from ESCP Business School.
