Director, Real Estate Research Asia Pacific of HSBC

Raymond Liu is a China offshore equity strategist and real estate analyst. He joined HSBC in 2017 and has more than a decade of experience at international investment banks, covering real estate, hospitality, logistics and conglomerate stocks. He has also worked in Asian equity derivatives sales and trading at a European investment bank. Raymond has been recognised as a top analyst by the CFA Society Hong Kong, winning the organisation’s best sector report award for two years (2016 & 2018). He holds a master of finance from INSEAD and a BSc in quantitative finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a CFA and FRM charterholder.

Albert Tam joined HSBC as part of the Asia real estate research team in 2014. Prior to that, he worked as a research associate in the real estate team of a leading European broker. He holds a bachelor of economics and finance degree from the University of Hong Kong and a master's degree in economics from Carleton University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Herald van der Linde is HSBC's Head of Equity Strategy, Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he was Deputy Head of Research at HSBC and also worked for 20 years in Indonesia, South Africa and Taiwan in various roles, including analyst, equity strategist, and Taiwan head of research. He holds the CFA designation, speaks seven languages and has a MSc in Macroeconomics. Herald is also an Associate of the Institute of Wine and Spirits and is a certified lecturer for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
