Mr. Thomas Yu is currently Director, Global Hub Operations & Product Development at Cainiao Network, Alibaba Group, and responsible for delivering operational strategies and innovating new processes & product enhancements for global e-Hubs.

Thomas possesses over 18 years' experience in the aviation industry and is specialized in strategic management, operational planning, commercial and business development in the field of airport, cargo and ground handling services.
Prior to joining Cainiao, Thomas worked for dnata, Emirates Group Headquarters as Head of Commercial, International Airport Operations in Dubai, and held several management positions in a few world renowned cargo terminals in Hong Kong. He is also the Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation (CILT), and holder of a Master Degree of International Shipping and Logistics Management and Bachelor Degree of Engineering.

Frank Van Gelder has been active within the air cargo industry for the past 14 years. With a background in health care and being active for 15 years specifically in acute logistic processes in direct patient care. He developed his further career in the quality improvements of high sensitive products such as food, pharmaceuticals and live animal transports by air.

He is involved in the development of digital solutions increasing transparency in the supply chain end-to-end. He is the chairman of the Innovation steering committee of Brussels Airport Community “Air Cargo Belgium”. He holds the position of Secretary General of Pharma.Aero VZW, a non-profit organisation, working cross industrial to foster worldwide collaboration within the life science airfreight industry.

Most recently Frank has become one of five experts in a Think Tank for the Covid-19 vaccine distribution Task Force for the Belgian Federal Government & University of Antwerp in the capacity of Senior Airfreight Consultant.
